Youenn Latour
Youenn Latour graduated in 2016 with a major in post-production. After graduation, he headed to the post-production company Digital District, mostly recognized for its special effects.

He starts as a trainee in the assistant editors’ lab. During two months of internship and a few occasional assignments, he works in a team on commercials (especially for “beauty” companies like LOréal or cars like Nissan).
Afterwards, he does another internship within the calibration department of Digital District, Color, and is permanently integrated in the company as a calibration assistant from January 2017.
Although his work also involved advertising, the main focus of his activity was on feature films.
“Within the team I was working with, we were responsible for the final visual rendering of the film. Personally, I was in close contact with the calibrator to help him optimally in his task, and to enable him to work smoothly and pleasantly. We also worked in cooperation with the editing and special effects teams to achieve the desired result.

I recently quit my job to fulfill a childhood dream, to travel to New Zealand for at least a year. Even if it is not the priority, I could still work there in the audiovisual field and discover another way of working.”
