A spot to promote a solidarity initiative

On 21 December 2024, on the 12th day of the Top 14, Montpellier Hérault Rugby (MHR) took on Racing 92 in an outstanding match, won by the MHR. But before the match kicked off, an equally remarkable event took place: the broadcast of an advertising spot created by students at CinéCréatis Montpellier.

The aim of the spot was to highlight the new MHR Solidaire collector’s jersey, a unique model designed by Matt Neveu, a student atESMA Montpellier. This special jersey is more than just a piece of sports equipment. It symbolises a real solidarity initiative: the shirts worn and signed by the players during the match are being auctioned off to raise donations to fund the charity projects run by MHR Solidaire.

For rugby fans and those with a passion for worthy causes, the auctions can be accessed online via the MatchWornShirt platform. It is possible to buy a shirt that has been worn and signed or just autographed.

It is also possible to own a replica version of this collector’s jersey, available in the club’s official shop.

A partnership that makes sense for Montpellier cinema students

The production of the advert by students at CinéCréatis Montpellier highlights the talent and creativity of local young people, while supporting an initiative with strong values. This collaboration is a wonderful example of how sport, art and solidarity can combine to create a positive impact.

Thanks to this action, the MHR is once again demonstrating its commitment to social causes and its roots in local life. Well done to the students, the club and everyone involved in this wonderful initiative!
