CinéCréatis students in the running for the “Twin Sisters” competition
Our second-year students in Bordeaux are passionately taking part in the first national student competition organised by France Télévisions in conjunction with the “Les Sœurs Jumelles” festival. This prestigious competition showcases the creativity of young talent from schools and training courses specialising in film, image and music.
Intense filming at the CinéCréatis Bordeaux school
On Friday 13 and Saturday 14, the students took over the school’s studio to shoot their project. The equipment provided by the school enabled them to bring their script, which they had written themselves, to life. This project is the culmination of an impressive team effort, both artistically and logistically.
Meticulous preparation and well-found resources
The Bordeaux students have shown great ingenuity in turning their vision into reality. They designed the sets themselves, even going so far as to find a free bar on a resale platform! This was no mean feat, especially when it came to transporting this imposing element to the school.
As for casting, they called on three talented actors from the Cours Florent Bordeaux, the Atelier Rive Gauche and the cineaste.org website. The first-year students also got involved, playing the role of extras.
Editing to enhance their creation in front of the competition jury
During the holidays, our students will enter a crucial new stage: editing. This phase will allow them to fine-tune their creation and prepare it for submission to the jury of the ‘Les Sœurs Jumelles’ competition.
A promising project
This competition is a fantastic opportunity for our second-year students to showcase the breadth of their skills and creativity. We wish them all the best for the future and look forward to seeing their final project!
